Richard Mosse — The Enclave

Long after Kodak Aerochrome was discontinued, Richard Mosse made fame using this aerial reconnaissance emulsion. Used to show camouflaged positions in the jungle it renders colors on the infrared spectrum as well as ‘regular’ colors. This makes greens appear purple and gives this film its signature look.

In this series the conflict in Congo is depicted, showing a different take on war-photography. Together with a filmmaker and sound technician Richard travelled through the country escorted by armed rebels.
