Patrick Lambertz — Chalets

This German photographer draws inspiration from Bernd and Hilla Becher, a very influential German photographic duo. A cliche image that exists about Switzerland is their picturesque and romantic mountain chalets, surrounded by pristine snow and a burning log fire inside.

Patrick tries to capture this image by showing us these chalets are all different and unique. By removing almost all context and showing only a full frontal view of the chalets they become their own characters. It makes you as a viewer focus on their materials and individual features.
