Marie Pol

The portraits Marie paints are a modern interpretation of classical style. The pose, the lighting, colours she uses. It all feels very familiar. Exept for the massive lack of details ofcourse. She uses very big brushes to create an almost ‘low-res’ version of the painting a viewer expects. She leaves it up to us to fill in the rest.
