Gustaf Fjaestad — Winter Light

With the snow we just had in The Netherlands I’m mesmerised by these paintings. Low contrast but very high in detail and mood. Fjaestad (1868 - 1948) was born in Sweden and drew inspiration from the big snowy forest vistas found there.
